The Eternal Wanderer Settles

Ha! After chasing Orange-tips for three years, I finally found one that stopped long enough to photograph. This handsome male landed in front of me while filming Club-tailed Dragonflies on the upper reaches of the Thames in Berkshire. Note the often-hard-to-see exquisite mottled underside that provides perfect camouflage.

slow month on the birdguides blog- is this blog dead?

Well done on taking a picture of one of the easiest butterflies to capture!- not riviting- was there more of a story behind this ...?

Go at dawn in the cool of the morning where you'll find them roosting (most butterflies are extremely sluggish then).
